Georgia’s entertainment economy is estimated at $29 billion, but the data surrounding animation, visual effects, and game development often fails to capture the full scope of our industries. ASIFA-South, VES Georgia, and GGDA are working together to better understand the professionals behind this work, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure these sectors are accurately represented in Georgia’s creative economy. 

 

In 2021, ASIFA-South did a sustainability report that we were able to use in part for a starting point but this information is outdated.​ To advocate effectively, we need real data and real voices. Every response helps us represent our industries in larger entertainment‑industry conversations where decisions and policies are shaped.
