About the event
Celebrate Women’s History Month with Atlanta’s creative community.
We invite you to a special evening honoring the women who helped shape the animation industry and the storytellers who continue that legacy today.
Join us for a live excerpt reading from The Queens of Animation, featuring the untold stories of trailblazing women at Disney who left a lasting impact on the art form read by Sylvia Camille, actress and membership committee member from WIFTA. You can also take part in meaningful conversations, sign up for portfolio and résumé refreshers, and enjoy a hands-on creative activity inspired by Disney’s historic “ink and paint” department.
This collaborative mixer brings together animation and film professionals from across Atlanta and is presented by ASIFA-South, Women in Animation Atlanta, the KSU Collective, and Women in Film and Television Atlanta.
This gathering is open to everyone.
