Min Kyung Cho
Storyboard Artist, Lead 2D Animator
Min is a 2D animator and Storyboard Artist working for Slothique and BWA studios. Her latest work include animating the AAPI promotion for HULU's PEN15 series and storyboarding "Takeover" feature film featuring Quavo by Trioscope Studios. She has an MFA in Animation from Savannah College of Art & Design. She has also created works for gallery with her background in painting and done workshops for locations such as MODA (Museum of Design and Art) Min also currently works with ASIFA-South as a Senior Operations Coordinator.
Wasan Hayajneh
2D Animator & Professor of Animation
Wasan Hayajneh is an award winning animator, story artist and educator who has worked with clients such as Midnight Oil Animation, Malatang Media LLC and Six Point Harness. Her thesis film ELECTRA WASP (2023) won the Philosophic Octopus at Octopus Marquee, Best Direction in Animation at YellowHammer and 1st Prize in the Women in Film competition at Fugitive Sister Film Festival in Cannes.
Neko Pilarcik-Tellez
2D Animator, Compositor
Neko Pilarcik-Tellez is a compositor and 2D animator based in Atlanta, GA. Neko’s credits include: 2D Lighting Artist on the upcoming Sony feature, Harold and the Purple Crayon; Animation Assistant on City Island; Character Layout Artist on Teenage Euthanasia season 1; Animator on Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location; Illustrator on Freddy FazBear’s Pizzeria Simulator; and most recently, Compositor at Floyd County Productions on Hit Monkey season 2. Neko also directed SCAD Animation Studios’ first hand-drawn 2D film, The Pope’s Dog which will be screening here at ASIFAC. While on the lookout for her next contract, Neko is keeping busy working on her MFA thesis at SCAD and developing a composting tool to procedurally generate true volumetric cel shading on 2D characters.
